• A People's Summit took place June 11-17, 1995 in Halifax Nova Scotia, organized by about fifty organizations in the Halifax area.

• The People's Summit was held in parallel with the Group of Seven's Economic Summit.

• A Summit News newsletter #1 and #2 was produced by the People's Summit organizers

• Working Documents from the People's Summit

• Information Habitat with TOES/US (The Other Economic Summit/US) presented a workshop on opportunities and implications of information technology at the People's Summit.

• In conjunction with the workshop, Information Habitat created a sample People's Forum interactive bulletin for the People's Summit, as a participant interactive message system.
