Failure of the UN to exert a global will on this issue only undermines the UNs role in the world and encourages renegade nation states to develop the status of super power.

Every man, woman and child in Iraq who was injured or killed by American and British bombs MUST be compensated, or their families. Those people maimed are going to have to live with the scars for the rest of their lives, and it is just not fair to pass them off as collateral damage. These are human beings we are talking about, real lives, not just porns in a stupid war waged by equally stupid leaders. I call for a formal apology from Tony Blair and George Bush to the families of those civilians killed and injured in Iraq, and monetary compensation, as any Western citizen would expect if they or their family had been bombed by the government. I also call for the invading forces to leave Iraq, and allow UN peacekeeping forces access and to allow the Iraqi people the right to decide their own government safe from the corrupt influences of those only interested in making profit out of Iraq's oil.
